It's right there

Starting my day off with a workout, ducking into the gym for 20 minutes before work seemed like a good thing to do.

No time like the present.

Made a new friend, which was cool.

Dressed for work and rushed to my car so I could make it to work on time.

My morning quiet time was likewise somewhat hurried.

And after a slight head spin (remedied by eating the egg muffin I should have eaten before I left the gym), I was on to start my day.

"Lord, help me get through this day," I prayed.

The day went well, I felt better, yet by the day's end was ready to sink into my couch.

Yes, it is clear. I'm going to have to change my diet and eat more protein and vegetables, fruit, cheese and so forth.

The thought occurred to me that in order to save time, my workout might be best done at home, where I can also multi-task with ease.

I really Iike the process of going to the gym. And being out in the community.

But it's kind of like hot footing it across the splintered boardwalk at the beach.

Because. The ocean 💙 is right there.

After the boardwalk walk, that is.

Will need to pray more on this.

I have weights, benches and a cycle at home. Yoga mats also.

Would it be silly to put on yoga gear to do pilates or yoga at home?

It's comfortable sportswear.

Maybe that would be a better way to start my day.
